    • If you have previously printed tags from another consignment sale, please enter all you other consignor IDs in the “Application Comments” section.

    • Please let us know that you are using additional Consignor numbers, especially if you are using another FlashConsign number.
    • In the unlikely/unfortunate case that your previous number is one that is already assigned (e.g. you are 100 and another consignor with our sale is already 100), then we cannot accept your old tags as is. You will have to either print out new tags and fastened them to your items or cross out your old number and handwrite your new FlashConsign number.
  • If you have previously consigned with another sale that did NOT use FlashConsign but another ELECTRONIC consignment system, you may use your previous tags. However, PLEASE CONTACT ORGANIZERS(cwppac@gmail.com) for detailed instructions.
    • You must create a FlashConsign account (see above)
    • You must provide us with your ID# from the other sale so we can add it to your profile.

    • You must create a FlashConsign account (see above)
    • You will NOT have an inventory of items or be able to track what is sold or not sold. If you want to have this feature available to you, you will need to enter each item into our sale.

Consigned Items – Condition and Quality

  • A good rule of thumb when consigning items is – if you would not buy it, do not sell it.
  • All items must be in good to excellent condition.
  • Clothing must have NO RIPS, TEARS, HOLES, MISSING BUTTONS, or STAINS.
    • The PAC Consignment Sale reserves the right to remove any items at our discretion. We will inspect all items for quality during the final setup.

How to Tag Items

  • All tags must be printed from FlashConsign (with exceptions made for items coming from another sale, contact cwppac@gmail.com for details).
  • Tags must be printed on white or colored card stock. Some consignors find colored card stock easier for identifying unsold items at pick-up.
  • All tags must be entered into the FlashConsign system by noon on the Friday before SALE DAY, March 17, 2017.
  • The following information must be included on a tag:
    • Item name and brief description
    • It may be useful to put the brand name on tag (e.g. GAP, Hannah Andersson, Gymboree)
    • If item is brand-new, please indicate so on the tag
    • Size
    • Price ($.50 increments; minimum price of $.50 required)
    • Category
    • Donate (indicate whether you would like to donate the item if it does not sell, a heart will appear if you choose to donate). Items marked for donation may be entered in the Dollar Dash and sold for $1. Proceeds from the Dollar Dash go to CWP PAC and not the seller.
    • Half-price (indicate whether you would like to have your items available to sell for half the price during the Half-Price Sale. If you do not make your item half-price, it can still be purchased during the Half-Price Sale, but at full price.
  • Tags for clothing items must be attached with a safety pin or tagging gun. We recommend punching a hole in the tag and putting the safety pin through the hole. Do not use straight pins OR staples.
  • The tag should be safety pinned or tagged to the clothing tag located on the inside of the garment. The tag needs to be flipped outside of the garment so that it can be easily seen.
  • Please do not use excessive tape when attaching tags to non-clothing items.

How to Hang Clothes

  • All clothes must be on hangers, prior to drop off.  Consignors who arrive with untagged items or unhung items will be asked to return at the next available drop off time, once items are prepared.
  • The hanger hook should be pointing to the left as your face the item (like a question mark).
  • Please match sets together by pinning them together after hanging the shirt, allowing both items to be seen without having potential buyers needing to remove pins.
  • Pants should not be folded over the hanger. Pin at the waist instead.
  • Please feel free to use colored hangers or attach a colored tape (washi tape) on the hanger to help you identify your unsold items during pick-up.

Pricing Information

  • The minimum price is $.50.
  • Prices must be in $.50 increments.
    • Most consigned items end up being 1/3 to 1/2 of retail price, depending on the condition of the item.

General Consignment Guidelines

  • The recent changes to Consumer Protection laws have raised questions concerning the consignment of baby and children items. In regards to lead and phthalates, their website (http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/index.shtml) states that resellers are NOT requested to test items for lead but can not knowingly resell items that do not meet legal standards. Therefore, it is crucial for you to ensure that you do not consign any recalled items or items that are unsafe for children. As a reseller of children’s toys or clothes, you retain the ownership of all items you consign and thus are responsible for ensuring that none of those items are recalled. You can view a list of recalled items here (http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prerel.html) and here (www.wemakeitsafer.com). Since the list of recalled items is very long, recommend using the Search feature to check individual items. Below are some general categories of items that are best not to consign:
  • No cribs
  • No books published before 1985
  • No soft vinyl or plastic bath toys or books, feeding items, or other items made for young children to put in their mouths (due to potential phthalates in these materials
  • No car seats made before 2013 or that have been involved in an accident
  • No crib mattresses
  • NO undergarments except pristine cloth diapers.
  • Shoes must be in excellent condition.
  • Items must be clean and in good-to-excellent condition (no stains, tears, missing buttons, fading, etc…). We reserve the right to reject any items not meeting these standards.
  • Toys with loose parts must be secured with tape and/or bagged together so that they may be viewed and not separated, use clear Ziploc bags and strong packing tape.
  • Please disclose if you item needs batteries.

If you have any questions about items you want to consign, please contact the organizers at cwppac@gmail.com .
